学校概况
阿尔托大学(Aalto University)位于芬兰，是一所具有古老历史及数百年办学经验的北欧顶尖学府，其历史最早可以追溯到1849年建立的赫尔辛基理工大学。该校为北欧五校联盟NordicFiveTech(N5T)成员之一，以及欧洲创新与技术研究院EIT院校成员之一，数世纪的历史沉淀与新时期的创新理念结合，如今已发展成为芬兰国内公认的最佳大学以及芬兰国内高中生最向往的大学之一，同时也是在全欧洲乃至全世界享有盛誉的顶尖级多学科综合性大学。
学校环境
阿尔托大学的主校区坐落于奥塔涅米，该园区内拥有数个高科技公司，芬兰森林工业联合实验室，以及高新技术创业服务中心(芬兰语Innopoli和Technopolis)也同时坐落于此。阿尔托大学奥塔涅米校园紧邻芬兰生命科学中心，及数家国际知名的企业集团总部，如诺基亚，通力电梯，富腾电力等。此地区距离首都赫尔辛基市中心仅10分钟车程。阿尔托大学经济学院及艺术与设计学院的设施也逐步移入该校区，并保留经济学硕士层次课程在赫尔辛基市中心。

入学要求
阿尔托大学硕士要求：与芬兰学士学位 (180 ECTS 学分) 相对应的已完成的相关专业领域本科学位，或从国际公认的大学获得的同等学历。中国的学历和成绩单需经过CDGDC(教育部学位与研究生教育发展中心)的官方认证并由该机构直接寄送到该校。
语言要求：雅思(仅接受学术类)总分 6.5 (其中写作单项不低于5.5);托福 92(IBT) 580(PBT)(其中写作单项不低于22、4.0);
奖学金
阿尔托大学奖学金计划：奖学金涵盖学费的50%或100%，奖学金涵盖学费的50%或100%。
阿尔托大学激励奖学金计划(Aalto University激励奖学金计划)：奖学金授予一个学年期间在个人学习计划中获得至少60 ECTS学分的学生。奖学金为1 500欧元奖学金在下一个秋季(或毕业时适用)分期付款，奖学金是给在一个学年学习期间至少获得了60个学分学分的学生。奖学金为1500欧元。一般是一次性发给学生，或者毕业的时候学校再发给学生。也就是说，如果你在校表现优秀，你是有机会获得额外的奖学金补助的。虽然1500欧元不多，但是至少也可以覆盖你几个月的生活费了

名字“阿尔托大学”象征转变和对勇敢的，非常多才多艺的阿尔托(Alvar Aalto)先生的颂词。阿尔托先生不仅在工业和经济领域上，而且在艺术领域上的成就显著突出。阿尔托本人是该大学的一名校友，而且也是理工学院校区Otaniemi的创造者，规划者和主教学楼的设计者。选择该名字是为了反映新型大学的概念，精神，价值和目标。
